“We are delighted to be shortlisted in the Community Impact Award Category of this year’s Business in the Community Impact Awards.  Community relations lies at the heart of Parker Green’s Corporate Strategy.  Our ultimate aim is to make each location where we operate a better place to live.”

The awards are sponsored by Electric Ireland and in association with Ulster Business Magazine.

Chair of Business in the Community NI, Roy Adair, said: “These are exciting times for businesses in Northern Ireland. The economy is starting to pick up which is a positive sign, yet even through all of the difficulties in recent years companies here have continued to do the right thing and be a force for good in our society. I am continually impressed by the determination of organisations to go beyond the norm to use their business for the benefit of their people, the planet and the places where they operate.

“The NI Impact Award celebrate companies and individuals who realise just how important their actions are to our society and I’d encourage all businesses to put themselves forward for recognition and to inspire other companies by sharing their stories.”

Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner at Belfast Waterfront Hall on Thursday 5th June.
