Location : Trnava Park Shopping Centre will be located in Trnava, Slovakia, approx. 40 minutes from Bratislava. It has an immediate catchment population of 67,000 within the town area and 550,000 in the region.
Project Description : Parker Green International acquired the 16.3 ha site in 2006 in order to develop a high quality shopping centre for Trnava. Trnava Park Shopping Centre will be a large regional shopping and leisure
destination with phase one alone consisting of over 28,000 sq m NLA, comprising of a large food anchor with a further 90 retail stores arranged over two levels.
To date, planning permission has been received for a retail development of 55,000 sq m GLA with associated car parking. Future phases of development will include more retail, hotels and offices.
Situated directly adjacent to a Baumax DIY superstore, the shopping centre will benefit from the shared 1500 surface level car parking spaces.
With financing to be provided by Slovenska Sporitelna and VUB, Trnava Park Shopping Centre is one of the largest commercial developments to have successfully secured the approval of funding from a Slovak bank this year.
Status : PGI have obtained all building permits for Phases One and Two of the development and plan to commence construction on site in April 2010.
