Project Description : The Quays is a major retail and leisure development situated in the heart of Newry, overlooking the canal in the historic Albert Basin area of the City. The development also provides leisure and business accommodation in a development that is situated in the heart of Newry - one of Ireland’s fastest growing cities. Tenant Lineup : Anchor tenants: Sainsbury’s food anchor and Debenhams department store. Other key tenants: Next, River Island, Argos, Waterstones, HMV.
Status : Parker Green International is currently finalising plans for phase 5 of the development which will include 46,000 sq m of new retail units, a 140 bed hotel and a new multi storey, bringing the total number to 1720 car parking spaces.
A further phase 6 design is being finalised at present which will include a new office development of 11,000 sq m NLA.
