Dr. O'Hare CBE Appointed Honorary Consul Of The Republic Of Latvia in NI

Parker Green’s Managing Director, Dr. O’Hare CBE was recently appointed honorary consul of the Republic of Latvia for Northern Ireland. This prestigious appointment was made during an event on March 3rd at the embassy of Latvia in London by the ambassador of Latvia, Eduards Stiprais. Dr. O’Hare said: “In the first instance I will be concerned with the wellbeing of all Latvian citizens who come to visit, work, study or reside in Northern Ireland. I will also be tasked with encouraging the promotion of trade and business links as well as supporting cultural, tourism, and educational exchange with Latvia.” To support this work Dr. O’Hare plans to officially open a consulate office, located within Parker Green’s Newry Head Offices, on Thursday 22nd April.
