Parker Green International were delighted to pick up two prestigious gongs at theGreater Newry Area Business Awards Ceremony, held in the Canal Court hotel, Newry on Wednesday 16th June.
Organised by Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade, this high profile event, which was attended by over 400 guests, was hosted by BBC journalist, Karen Patterson. It celebrated the very best that the Greater Newry Area business community has to offer and profiled the exceptionally high standard of business leadership, ambition, entrepreneurship and innovativeness which has become synonymous with this region.
Winners and finalists of this hotly contested business awards competition were announced on the night and with 21 awards presented to the crème of local business talent.
Speaking on Parker Green’s double award win, Managing Director,Dr. Gerard O’Hare CBE said:
“Parker Green International are delighted to be recognised at Newry’s very own business Oscars, and to pick up two awards on the night is a double celebration. We won the ‘Best Commercial Premises’ Award for our restored Drumalane Mill development for a second time and also the ‘Best Social Corporate Responsibility’ Award, in recognition of the CSR commitment we have shown to the local community, our employees, the environment & wider society as a whole.”
The awards competition, which is held biennially, welcomed submissions from over 260 key businesses in the Greater Newry area.
