Sir Reg said that the aims of the awards went arm in arm with the work currently being done through the Department’s Skills Strategy for Northern Ireland, ‘Success through Skills’, as both place an emphasis on individuals and their positive contribution to the workplace.
All-Black winning captain and guest speaker Sean Fitzpatrick told guests: "Sport and business have a lot of parallels as both are totally dependent on people performing at the right level and it is great that these awards are a celebration of the importance of people in every organisation."
