Parker Green International confirms Daniel Liebskind’s role in Albert Basin bid:
Dr Gerard O’Hare, Managing Director of Newry based property development company Parker Green International, today confirmed reports that architect Daniel Liebskind is involved in the company’s bid for the re-development of the Albert Basin in Newry.
“Daniel Liebskind is an architect of international renown whose work includes various components of the New York World Trade Centre Masterplan. I am delighted to confirm that he has been involved in the design of a number of iconic buildings which are included in Parker Green’s proposal for Albert Basin,” said Dr O’Hare.
“As the selection process to choose a developer for this key city centre location is ongoing I am unable to discuss the plans in any further detail. The involvement of such a distinguished international architect in our bid is a clear demonstration of Newry’s position as one of Ireland’s premier cities, and the strategic importance of the site,” he added.
