Parker Green welcomes European media guests to Newry:
Newry-based property company, Parker Green International recently welcomed European Journalists from the most prominent business daily newspapers and property magazines in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland to their Head Offices in Drumalane Mill during the months of August and September.
Each corporate media trip was organised to give Parker Green the opportunity to; highlight the success of their University of Ulster accredited International Post Graduate programme, showcase their extensive commercial and residential portfolio in this emerging region, and promote Newry and the exciting vision for the city’s future.
Dr. Gerard O’Hare, who hosted each visit said:
‘We were delighted to welcome journalists from the most prestigious media publications in Central and Eastern Europe to Newry and Northern Ireland.’
‘These visits allowed us to demonstrate the success of Parker Green’s innovative postgraduate programme, which is currently in its second year and includes graduates from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the USA. The mutually beneficial programme, which involves our graduates spending time in our Slovakian and Newry Offices, includes both a theoretical element through attendance at the University of Ulster, and an integral practical element through work placement in each department within the company.’
‘The media visit was also seized as a valuable opportunity to showcase our extensive commercial and residential portfolio in this emerging region while also promoting Newry’s vision for the future to a group of influential media figures from continental Europe.’
‘We believe that each of our media trips was a great success and acted as the catalyst in establishing positive relations with our European journalists and their respective publications on a long-term basis.’
